Guidelines for styling text

 The first rule is, Don’t Use the Style Menu. It contains styles that are beyond the scope of simple article formatting.

To style the text of an article, follow these simple guidelines. You will notice the use of a heirarchical system. It is reflecting web standards for accessibility.

The first rule is hard and fast: Use the Title field to write your headline. You won’t need to add a title in the body of the article. However, if you do break this rule, use Heading 1 for the title.

Heading 1 is Format: Heading 1

Body text is Format: Normal.


Your first subheading level is Heading 2:

Heading 2 is Format: Heading 2

Body text is Format: Normal.


Your second subheading level is Heading 3:

Heading 2 is Format: Heading 2

Body text is Format: Normal.
